Riley Davies is a textile designer specializing in knitwear and handspun yarn. Her focus is small batch art yarns and bespoke knitwear made from yarns that are upcycled, thrifted, and made of natural fibres. RedTheads Design is a business rooted in the belief that we need to consume less, and be more mindful of what we buy. In this spirit, Riley offers knitwear mending services of her handmade goods to help prolong the lifespan of their wear.
Moving forward, it’s my goal that RedThreads Design is more deeply connected to our local textile fibreshed and I’m looking for opportunities to connect with makers and farmers. My goal is to make products and creative work that have a lower carbon footprint while supporting my local fibre community.
