Membership means that you are a supporter and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that. Membership includes reduced pricing for Vancouver Island Fibreshed events and opportunities to strut your stuff.

Membership

Members can send us written articles and photos on topics related to living, farming, making, and being in our fibreshed. We will consider them for our Blog, Facebook page, Newsletter, or Instagram page.

Members receive a supporter logo to display on their websites/sales booths. Send us a logo if you have signed up for a paid membership and we will splash it all over our media.

Membership runs on an annual basis, from January to December each year. We offer a sliding scale, suggesting $25/year or more as you are able and see value in our advocacy work to support a local textile economy.

If you are a Vancouver Island or Gulf Island farmer or artisan wanting to let people know that your work supports regional agriculture, a local and fair economy, and ecological balance, consider becoming a member of the Vancouver Island Fibreshed Producers Program. Our listings celebrate the diversity of local fibres and dyes available in our region. Artisans/Makers use local fibres in most of their products.
