The 44 Collective is a 44-acre farm on Mayne Island, designed as a gathering space. Fibre, food, and community come together here to provide a variety of services.
The 44 raise alpacas, process their fleece in a tiny on-site mill, and sell raw fleece and roving directly from the farm. Alongside fibre production they host workshops, small events, and arts gatherings that bring people onto the land to learn, make, and spend time together.
The 44 also offers various fibre workshops throughout the year.
