Applemere Heritage Farm is a family farm located in Duncan on Vancouver Island. They are dedicated to raising heritage breeds of both livestock and produce.
Their showcase stock are Cotswold sheep, which are world famous for their lustrous long wool. Cotswold fleeces have an affinity for dyeing and the farmer, Bobbi Baker, has been experimenting with a wide palette of colours. Applemere offers wool that is hand-dyed using natural, eco-friendly heritage products as well as natural un-dyed black and white wools.
Applemere also sells eggs in a rainbow of colours from their flock of heritage breed chickens. In the Autumn they offer a bounty of delicious and spicy garlics. Applemere Heritage Farm is always growing, with new projects and new products on the horizon.
